Stephen supports Top Fuel in
many ways, Naming his company after it, sponsoring cars with his band
logos and even planning his tours to coincide with the races so he can
attend.
I myself am from NASCAR country so this year I decided
to see what the fuss was about. In March I headed to FL to go to the
Gatornationals and hit two Pearcy shows while I was there. Needless to
say the shows were great and you'll find pics of them here -

JacksonvilleThe
races were a totally new experience for me, It does differ from NASCAR
in many ways, for one thing instead of 4hrs of running in circles
it's many many very loud, fast and short drag races, great for those of
us with short attention spans! Cool thing was you could walk
around down in the section where they work on the cars. I kind of felt
sorry for those guys, must be a pain in the ass trying to do your job
with people looking over your shoulder all day! And the smell of Nitro
in the air, it's something that can't be described, it has to be
experienced. I had a great time and would do it again, especially if
it's paired up with a Pearcy show like this time.
