Mark is a pretty awesome guitarist. He started out in a regional band called False Witness in the mid 80's, In 1990 he was featured in the Spotlight column of Guitar Player magazine, and soon after moved to the SanFran area to record with the Minniapolis based band Scream Parade. The 90's brought about a bad ass three piece named JRZ system and in 2000 the 3 of them joined up with Pearcy's Rat Bastards for a couple years. He played with Ratt, Wasp and most recently is in 40 Cycle Hum

After a long hiatus, 40 Cycle Hum will be appearing live Saturday night June 28th at the Knitting Factory in Hollywood in honor of Club Vodka's 6-year Anniversary. 40 Cycle Hum played the very first Club Vodka event, and we can't wait to celebrate this momentus Anniversary of Hollywood's premier live rock club!
Shot some new promo pix last Sunday at Clive Barker's art studio in the
Hollywood Hills. Clive is best known for his movies, (Hellraiser,
Candyman, Edward Scissorhands) but is also an accomplished and prolific
artist. He hand-painted the backdrop for the shoot, and shot the
pictures himself. Clive also donated an original painting to the band, which will be used
for the cover art of our new disc, currently being mixed at Next Level
Studios in Culver City, CA.
