The Rat Bastards
Most people know Stephen Pearcy as the lead singer of Ratt, I did too but I never really got in to Ratt back in the day. I'd listen to them but just wasn't into the whole pretty boy thing. I discovered him after Ratt broke up and Stephen had his solo thing going on. In fact it was the Speed Street concert in Charlotte NC in 2004 that I became a fan. I had gone to see Twisted Sister but in order to secure my front row spot I knew I'd have to stay there during the opening band which was SP. Let me tell you, the guy put on a hell of a show and by the time he was done I was a fan! He puts so much energy into it and he's charismatic up there, the whole thing is like a big party. I had fun, they seemed to be having fun, it was great! So they gained a fan that day.
I've since seen them 4 more times, sometimes theres tech problems, sometimes you can tell they haven't had a great night up to that point but once they get into it all that washes away and I haven't seen a bad show yet. I'm still not sure exactly how or why it happened but I've gotten to hang with them for a bit after shows now and they are all just as cool off stage as on. So I'm looking forward to the next show, when and wherever that may be.
Since discovering I liked Pearcys music I've checked out some of the stuff I missed, He has formed or been in Arcade, Vicious Delite and Vertex which all kick ass and I've found reference to bands named Nitronic and Band From Hell but haven't found any albums or tracks to listen to but I'm sure they kick ass as well.
RAT BASTARDS!
The Rat Bastards are Stephens touring band. It's not always the same guys but they float in and out I guess depending on availability. Every one of these guys is a talent in thier own right and they all have other projects going on. Each one deserves their own page here so I've given it to them. Check them out and give their other stuff a listen. Some is in the same genre as Pearcy and some is way different and may surprise you but it's all good!

Ratt is in the studio!
After months of pre production the Los Angeles rock band RATT are in the studio today to start recording their first studio release in (10) years. The new release will be produced by Michael "Elvis" Baskette, who's credits include; Puddle of Mud, Chevelle, Saliva, Limp Bizkit, Alter Bridge, Three days grace to name a few. The band will be recording in Mathews, Virginia for the next month or so, the first time outside of Los Angeles to record a RATT record in (20) plus years. Release date TBA.
Ratt - Summer Tour with Extreme!
Celebrated rock pioneers RATT and EXTREME have teamed up to bring you this summer’s most rockin’ tour lineup. The tour, which will feature sets from both bands with Ratt closing kicks off on July 12 in Amarillo, TX and runs through August 7th in Hampton Beach, NH. It will cross the U.S. and cover 16 markets, with more to be announced soon. In celebration of the 25th anniversary of their landmark debut Out Of The Cellar, RATT will be playing the album in its entirety.

recording artist RATT has been signed on to Headline Friday Night at Rocklahoma being held July 9-12 in Pryor, Oklahoma. Rocklahoma July 9-12 in Pryor, Oklahoma has been called by many throughout the world as the "Woodstock" of Eighties Rock Music.
Concerning Myspace
The "Under My Skin" page was only to promote that album. It seems someone there has continued to use the account and pass themselves off as Stephen. Sad really, we all know theres only one Stephen Pearcy! If you get messages or are contacted by this person be aware it is not Stephen.

Top Fuel
Anyone who knows anything about Stephen knows his passion for Top Fuel Racing, The guy likes to live in the fast lane and before he thought of going into Rock N Roll actually had his goals set on being a Top Fuel driver. Lucky for us that didn't work out! He still keeps his hands in the business though, starting his own record company called Top Fuel Records and bot Ratt and TFR have sponsored cars in the past.
