This first page will be my personal picks of the month! Each month I'll pick 3 bands to focus on. Gve them a listen and if you find something you like give them your support. Buy their CD's request their songs on your local radio, go to a show if there's one near you, tell your friends, spread the word!
This month I focus on what some call "Puppet bands" I'm not really feeling that name though as puppets are small inanimate objects that you must stick your hand up their asses to animate them. While some of these guys may require or even like that I don't believe it's what defines them. Some call them "comedy bands" but whats so funny about a band that talks of eating kids or ruining your life? I don't think that fits either. I like the term Theatrical band, not only because it implies the whole theatrics of it (Duh) but it also implies talent which some people, especially reviewers seem to overlook when they see these bands. Yes they have talent! Listen and see!
TURDZILLA!
The TURDZILLA experience can't be put into a little box of something you are familiar with. Yes, it is as if an Alien Circus has landed on your
doorstep and you're not sure if you will be entertained or slaughtered.! The actual name of the beast that haunts the Hollywood Cemetery is MUDDY ZOMBIE but the
townsfolk with the pitchforks and torches just call the creature TURDZILLA! Turdzilla has feeling as he was human once before that horrific accident or as Turdzilla
believes--treachery and betrayal. Turdzilla can show compassion and be quite gregarious or he can kill you depending on what sort of day he is having.

and I have to give a tip of the hat here to Barry Louis Polisar who seems to give TRACH a lot of their inspiration. Cool thing is he was an ispiration to me in my early years as well. Albums like "I Eat Kids" and "Naughty Songs For Bouys & Girls" helped make me the stable upstanding world citizen that I am today! Give him a listen, especially if you have kids!

There are no words to describe! This is a band that you have to see in order to get it! Songs like "G.I. Joe Raped Barbie" or "6651/2", the crucifixion of the lead vocalist, a flaming pentagram, an operational electric chair, and the one-of-a-kind "five-brain time helmet?" Piques your interest a bit doesn't it? And if you walk away a fan like I did theres plenty more where that came from as founder and lead singer Mike Odd has a bazillion side projects going on. the more you discover, the more you find out is left to discover!
